چکیده

Direct Ink Writing (DIW), which is widely used for developing functional 3D scaffolds that have robust structural integrity the growth of target tissues/cells, has emerged as an appealing method biomedical applications. The production structures involves three separate but interconnected stages (material development, printing process, and post-printing treatment), whose effectiveness influenced by several factors therefore make it challenging to optimize entire procedure. By studying material processability leveling settings, this study proposes a three-step enhance ink property design printer’s performance. recommended approach focused on thorough alginate–gelatin hydrogel properties, commonly in applications, due its natural origin through marine flora, well development process parameters their intercorrelations. Principal Component Analysis comparison with K-means clustering was applied reveal properties are highly correlated additive manufacturing (AM) processability, Taguchi’s Design Experiments (DOE) determined settings (primary secondary) achieving optimum accuracy. PCA results were affirmed showed viscosity, m, G′ G″ govern blends’ behavior while application DOE led 85% pore area printability.

Direct printing of nanostructures by electrostatic autofocussing of ink nanodroplets.

Nanotechnology, with its broad impact on societally relevant applications, relies heavily on the availability of accessible nanofabrication methods. Even though a host of such techniques exists, the flexible, inexpensive, on-demand and scalable fabrication of functional nanostructures remains largely elusive. Here we present a method involving nanoscale electrohydrodynamic ink-jet printing that...

Hydrodynamics of writing with ink.

Writing with ink involves the supply of liquid from a pen onto a porous hydrophilic solid surface, paper. The resulting linewidth depends on the pen speed and the physicochemical properties of the ink and paper. Here we quantify the dynamics of this process using a combination of experiment and theory. Our experiments are carried out using a minimal pen, a long narrow tube that serves as a rese...
